(Overview)

Meridian builds and manages rental apartments in Manchester and keeps them for the long term. Its previous website looked like a sales brochure for buyers: renders, lifestyle copy and a “register interest” form. Renters wanted three things it didn’t show: the price, the floor plan and when they could move in.

We rebuilt the site around available homes rather than buildings. Every listing shows its monthly rent, bills policy, size, floor plan and move-in date on the first screen, with no form needed to see any of it.

Photography is of real apartments on real days, not renders. Where a building isn’t finished yet, we say so and show the floor plan instead of an imagined interior.

(Availability)

Listings are synced from Meridian’s property-management system every hour, so a home disappears from the site as soon as it’s let. Lettings staff edit descriptions and photography in the CMS; rents and dates come from the source system and can’t drift.

Viewings are booked directly into the lettings team’s calendar. Renters pick a slot instead of waiting for a call back.

Every apartment type has a clean, consistent plan with room names, total area and orientation. Renters told us the plan was what they compared between listings, so it sits above the photo gallery.

Viewings used to start with the rent. Now people arrive already knowing it, and the conversation is about the home.
